In honor of Earth Day 2021 -- State Department, USAID, Peace Corps, and Girls Scouts of America officials will hold a careers master class-info session featuring State’s Acting Assistant Secretrary for the Bureau of Energy Resoruces Ambassador Virginia E. Palmer, April 21, 2021 @ 4:00 PM ET.
The first Earth Day took place on April 22, 1970, with more than 20 million Americans joining together to celebrate the world we call home. During previous Earth Days, we gathered in large groups to plant trees, clean up beaches, and host recycling drives in our neighborhoods. While we are social distancing and staying home this year, we can still celebrate what Earth Day represents in meaningful ways.
On April 21st, please join Diplomat in Residence CB Toney, Development Diplomat in Residence Alexious Butler, Peace Corps Recruiter Amanda Brinton, Girl Scout’s Chief Fund Development Officer Sapreet Kaur Saluja, and special guest ENR’s chief Ambassador Virginia E. Palmer, in exploring creative international employment opportunites that protect the planet, making the world a better place.
