    • Please join us for a panel discussion on life and service as an African-American diplomat.  Ambassador Larry Palmer, former Ambassador to Honduras and Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, will address the group about his career and life as an African-American in the U.S. Foreign Service.  Current Diplomats-in-Residence will provide information about State Department careers and student programs (internships/fellowships/study abroad opportunities) -- especially those aimed at increasing the diversity of the U.S. Foreign Service.
